Committees

Academic Affairs

Members of this committee are expected to tutor Accounting 211 and 212 for one or two hours per week.

Communications

Members of this committee are expected to assist in designing, interviewing, and writing for our quarterly publication, The Bean Counter.

Finance

Members of this committee are expected to assist in brainstorming and carrying out fundraising activities such as the Stadium cleanup and street cleanup.

Marketing

Responsibilities include:

To post flyers around SB advertising our quarterly professional events.

To raise a "buzz" about the Association via word of mouth

bullet

To go chalking in the spring.

Advertise weekly meetings by posting flyers in SB

Members of this committee are expected to promote The Accounting Association by designing and posting flyers.

VITA

Responsibilities include:

Publicizing VITA program to members interested in volunteering

bullet

Publicizing VITA program in the Fisher community with the help of the Marketing committee

bullet

Set up site with necessary resources (documents, computers, forms, etc)

Keep track of member participation
