  • Student must be in good academic standing

  • Student must hold Platinum level/Exceptional standing in the Accounting Association

  • Student must officially have been admitted into the Fisher School of Business

Come see members from Fisher student organizations strut their stuff as we uncover the do’s and don’ts of appropriate business fashion. Plus, meet and ask candid questions of PwC employees from the Columbus and New York Offices. There is no dress code for the show. Food and beverages will be provided. Fast Forward in Hollywood California - Accounting, MIS majors with a 3.5 GPA or higher; CPA eligible date of 2010.
KPMG's Fast Forward National Leadership Program is an interactive training program and valuable learning experience that can provide you with tools to help enhance your leadership skills. The program will allow you to meet and network with participants
and KPMG professionals from the US and Canada while providing information about KPMG, as well as the public accounting profession. We have created a program that, we believe, is an excellent way for you to get an inside look at a career with a public accounting firm while building key skills that will help in the various aspects of life. There are 2-3 students selected from The Ohio State University and only 100 selected in total. The program takes place in Hollywood, California on July 17-19, 2008. All expenses are paid for by KPMG.

Discover KPMG in your City of Preference / Hometown - Accounting / MIS majors with a 3.0 GPA or higher; CPA eligible date of 2010. KPMG's Local Office Discover Program is typically a one- to two-day program, that can expose you to the firm, our clients, the opportunities available, and most importantly, our people. The Discover KPMG program will not only provide you insight into the culture and career opportunities at KPMG, but it can also provide you with a forum to showcase your strengths and abilities. Each office varies when it comes to providing hotel accommodations during your stay. All meals are usually covered by the firm. We strongly believe that our Discover program is an excellent way for students to get an inside look at the public accounting profession and KPMG!

Future Diversity Leaders in Hollywood California - Business majors with a 3.5 GPA or higher; CPA eligible date of 2010.
KPMG's Future Diversity Leaders Program (FDL) is looking for high-performing students who have demonstrated and continue to demonstrate a commitment to diversity and are interested in future opportunities at KPMG through participation in FDL. The FDL program is a three-day leadership conference, held in Hollywood, California. It focuses on preparing high-potential students with the skills and perspective to be the business leaders of tomorrow. Scholarships are award to those who complete the program. Should you receive an internship with KPMG after the program, you will receive additional scholarship dollars. The program will be held July 14-16, 2008.

On-Campus Interviews - KPMG will be interviewing winter 2009 interns on campus on 5/7/08. KPMG will be interviewing for summer 2009 interns and full-time positions on 10/13/08. Students must be QUIC ready with career services and sign-up on FisherConnect prior to the cut-off deadline to secure an interview.  There is a 3.0 minimum GPA. Students should not wait for the fall career fair to talk to KPMG about opportunities - the pre-select date for interviews is typically prior to the career fair.

Office Hours in Fisher 434 - Thursday mornings from 10:00-12:00 in Fisher 434. Students can set-up an appointment by emailing  lbennington@kpmg.com. Students are also welcome to stop by, but it is best to set-up an appointment to guarantee a slot.

Deloitte & Touche

Deloitte National Leadership Conference (DNLC)   - This program is highly selective. It is for sophomores and/or students who are about two years away from graduation. Deloitte sends about 300 to 400 students to this conference from across the USA. The 4-day conference is all expenses paid and is held in Scottsdale, Arizona. The students have an opportunity to learn about professional services, leadership, and teamwork, among other things. It is a lot of fun and a wonderful way to network with other students from across the USA.

Tax Challenge - Each fall Deloitte hosts a Tax Challenge. Professors Krasniewski and Raabe are the advisors for this program. Students who want to be on the Tax Challenge team should talk to Krasniewski to learn more. They can also
reach out directly  to lburstein@deloitte.com.
