Membership Eligibility:

Requirement 1: The Omicron chapter requires the completion of at least one upper level accounting class at the Columbus branch of the Ohio State University; and requires a 3.4 grade point average overall and in accounting for initiation. However, if accompanied by the recommendation of at least one accounting professor, the required grade point average is a 3.4 in accounting and a 3.3 overall, or a 3.4 overall , and a 3.3 in accounting.

Requirement 2: Before a pledge can be initiated, the pledge must adequately present an accounting related topic and answer questions during an approximately 20 minute oral exam in front of at least one faculty member.

Requirement 3: A pledge must attend three meetings of which the third may be the actual initiation meeting.

Requirement 4: A pledge must be present at the initiation ceremony to become a member. Initiation in absentia will not be permitted under any circumstances
